Pre-Care

You may want to avoid cosmetic tattooing if….
-you are using ACCUTANE or have used it within the past year
-you have very oily skin and/or very large pores on your forehead the hair stroke pigment may be rejected
-if you are very tan or sun-damaged
-if you suffer from severe allergies
-if your skin is very delicate, fragile, sensitive or problematic. Skin conditions like Eczema, Psoriasis, Rosacea, heavy Melasma etc. that are present on the face will affect retention how your color ages and the longevity of cosmetic tattooing
-you are allergic to Lidocaine
-you are highly prone to scarring or keloids
-you are epileptic
-I will not tattoo you if you are under 18 or pregnant/nursing.
BROWS:
-Please take a break from any exfoliating anti aging/ anti acne products (retinoids, glycolics, vitamin c, AHA/ BHA, enzyme washes, serums, etc) near and around your brows area at least 2 weeks prior to your session and 2 weeks after for best healed results.
-Refrain from drinking alcohol or taking blood thinning medications 24 hours prior to your appt. -Any treatments such as lasers, peels, waxing, botox, tinting, etc should also take place 2 weeks prior or 2 weeks after your appt.
-Skin should be healthy and non irritated, blemish and sunburn free for best results. Your skin type & condition will greatly determine your results
-We’d rather see your full hair growth potential when you come in to your appt- we’ll be happy to remove any stray hairs at the studio!
-Microblading alone is only suitable for dry, non porous & healthy skin. Most clients will benefit from a naturally shaded style brow with a few hairlike details.
Freckles/Beauty Marks:
-Application is quick, and a combination of natural browns is used for the most subtle effect. Much like other forms of cosmetic tattooing, freckles will look a bit ‘unnatural’ and more defined/crisp for 3-5 days, before they settle in and become more subtle and natural
-If you are a user of any exfoliating anti aging/ anti acne products (retinoids, glycolics, vitamin c, AHA/ BHA, enzyme washes, serums, etc) – you must not use these on the tattooed area, both before and after the tattoo. Continued use could discolor the pigment of your cosmetic tattooing.
Very oily skin, Enlarged pores on your forehead/face or acne prone skin, Skin that is very sensitive or reactive, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea or melasma. Really thick, dark, coarse eyebrow hair. Take medication? Suffer from autoimmune issues? All these can negatively affect

LIP BLUSH:

LIP FILLERS: You MUST wait at least 1 month before/ after getting your lips tattooed

COLD SORES: If you’ve EVER had even 1 cold sore on the outside area of your mouth or on your lips, you MUST take doctor prescribed Valtrex at least 3 days prior and 3 days after getting your lips tattooed. If you don’t – this procedure will without a doubt trigger an outbreak that will affect healing, so this is very important & very easy to avoid.

MOISTURIZE: Please make sure your lips are well moisturized in the days leading to the appointment. If your lips are dry or cracking I will not be able to tattoo you.
